As the Military Medical Trainer, Brandon will be ensuring that military and federal medical personnel are properly trained on our medical products. In addition, while attending trade shows and conferences, he will be exhibiting our latest products to the men and women who serve our country.
I am so very excited to be starting this new chapter of my life with the PerSys group. My wife, Ashlyn, and I moved to Houston from our hometown of Sacramento, CA, which was necessary for me to accept this position. My career in EMS began in 2002 with an EMT-B course through my local Junior College. Late that year I enlisted into the U.S. Army and became an Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician, EOD tech for short, and I had the opportunity to learn the dangerous and exciting process of disabling bombs. After my active duty stint I put myself through Paramedic school while working odd jobs to fill the time.
I began working as a Paramedic in Sacramento before I transferred to Stockton, CA. I was also working part-time as a Firefighter in a small town in the foothills, and if that wasn’t enough I decided to re-enlist into the army. I joined the California Army National Guard to serve my country as a Flight Medic. With these 3 very demanding jobs it was hard to find time to get married. So when the time came, I stepped down from my position as a firefighter, I opted to not re-enlist, and I began looking for a job that would allow me to have a normal home life, and just as important, a career that would allow me to sleep in a bed every night.
So here I am, 1,990 miles from home, with my wife and son looking for a good area of Houston to let our roots take place. It is an absolute pleasure to finally be joining the PerSys Medical team and I look forward to working with PerSys Medical and with all our customers as your trainer. |
